What If It IS True, that ...

 The topic of this blog is challenging for me to write about due to the nature of the subject matter. I suspect that your initial reaction to the heading was one of curiosity. "What" is it that is 'not your fault', or mine. Let me start by asking you a question. Do you believe that you are responsible for the choices your children and their children make? Well, this is a subject matter that I have struggled with for many years. I will start by briefly discussing my own parents. I do not blame my mother for choices she made that may have negatively affected my life. Nor do I blame my father for not being present at all in my life until I was six years old, and then, only with a limited and unsustainable scope. And without any notable positive influence.  What if it is true that it is okay to hate INJUSTICE... but is NOT okay to hate PEOPLE!  There is NO place for hatred of any people. "God created man in his own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27. You may choose not to believe this, but it doesn't make it less true just because you refuse to see it. All people deserve the same justice, void of prejudice. You do not have to like someone, or things that they may have said or done to stand up for what is right. For example, I would be so bold as to suggest that there is a serious dilemma going on with an unnamed jury in New York that is in the process of deliberating over the fate of an unnamed former United States President. It is my opinion and from my distant but ongoing observations of the "going's on" in the courtroom, that said jury in question is being put in a corner between the clichéd rock and hard place. Some years ago, someone had the idea to take God's sacred rainbow and "create" a new meaning for it. The rainbow was never intended to be associated with who a person prefers to have sex with. It was given to us by God who made a covenant with Noah as a promise that he would never again flood the earth.  Then God told Noah and his sons, "I hereby confirm my covenant with you and your descendants, and with all the animals that were on the boat with you - the birds, the livestock, and all the wild animals - every living creature on earth. Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you.  What if it is true that TRUTH just is?!  We all have personal belief systems that may differ from those of others as well as overlap the beliefs of others. We make choices based on many different reasons, some and often many of which have to do with what we believe. The word "truth" is normally considered to be associated with "facts", what is "real" or "actual" ( Truth Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster ). Our beliefs can be influenced by others and sadly they may be based on falsehoods or twisted reality. The word "believe" according to the Miriam-Webster definitions ( Believe Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster ) has several similar yet distinct definitions. I encourage you to be familiar with them as you read this Blog on TRUTH. I "believe" (suppose, in this case) that if you are reading this, that you too are a seeker of the truth as I am, or you simply have some lingering questions concerning what is true...

What if it is true that YOU should MOVE out of the USA...   (What if it is true that) PRIDE is not all it is cracked up to be… What would you think if people started to have parades for human traffickers, murderers, drunks, adulterers, idolaters, sorcerers, and the like?? I imagine no matter your background or the choices that have led you to where you are today, most of the general population would recognize it to be a ridiculous idea to have pride in or celebrate morally corrupt behavior such as these things. Why then, would people have pride, much less have a parade, because of their choice to have sex with someone of the same gender? Just because society permits you to have a parade, doesn’t make it a good choice for anyone!!! It may occur to you to ask yourself some serious questions if you support “PRIDE” parades, and other such events and practices that have to do with personal choices, rather than who God created you to be. And I hear about situations that people I know are experiencing or other people in their lives are in the midst of. There is so much hurt and pain in this world... and even more selfishness, hedonism, and is leaning heavily in the direction of EVIL!
