God's Rainbow has been perverted...

Some years ago, someone had the idea to take God's sacred rainbow and "create" a new meaning for it. The rainbow was never intended to be associated with who a person prefers to have sex with. It was given to us by God who made a covenant with Noah as a promise that he would never again flood the earth.

 Then God told Noah and his sons, "I hereby confirm my covenant with you and your descendants, and with all the animals that were on the boat with you - the birds, the livestock, and all the wild animals - every living creature on earth. Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth." 

Then God said "I am giving you a sign of my covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth. When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds, and I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures. Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life. When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth." Genesis 9:8-16, NLT

It is so sad that not only did some earthly faction, club, group, movement, society (or whatever the members of the LGBTQIA+ consider themselves as), perverted the rainbow, but they are trying to confuse and recruit our children into their deranged (defined as wildly irrational or out of control - Oxford dictionary) belief system.

Children do not know what is good for them by nature. They only learn to begin to reason around age eight and an individual's brain is not even fully developed until they are in their mid-twenties. And anyone who has lived through teenage years knows full well that a teenager is going through so many hormonal and social changes that they are vulnerable to influence of people they trust, or people with whom they want to fit in. They are just trying to find their way in this world. Children and teens do not need adults with agenda's trying to manipulate their minds to fulfill their own selfish desires.

If you agree with this, please do your part to stand up for protecting our children from this kind of corruption. To quote that phrase that's been going around "If you SEE something, SAY something".

Facts, Faith, Freedom, and Fantasy are not the same

 We are well into the Christmas season as evidenced in the stores, the festive clothing people are wearing, and the lights and decorations that are showing up daily in yards around town. This is a time when we tend to reflect on the past and times when we shared joys of the season with loved ones who are no longer with us. Thanksgiving Is A Choice

 Someone who knows I do this blog, and who's opinion I value, asked me today if I was planning to write a blog for Thanksgiving. I have been feeling melancholy of late in spite of the fact that I have much to be thankful for, so, I am a real-life example of someone who can be having a personal pity party and still have gratitude.
