Our Nation Is Truly At A Turning Point!!

It is very evident that there are people in this world who are desperate for common sense to prevail in the hearts and minds of Americans. There is also evidence to suggest that there are people who would rather support false realities, hatred of the truth, and their own selfish pursuits.

It is normal for people to have differences in opinions and want to express their opinions, as they should be able to. After all the very first amendment of the constitution of the United States of America is “Freedom of Speech”. This means that people are supposed to be free to say what they want to without fear of retaliation.

On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was invited to a college campus in Utah to share his opinions and to also offer the opportunity for others to share their opinions on many matters of interest to all Americans. This is something this 31-year-old, who was wise beyond his years, did on a regular basis not only on college campuses, but in high schools as well. His desire was to get young people to take the time to question what and why they believed what they did. He challenged people to develop their critical thinking skills by asking them challenging questions. Many people, young and old, were excited about this new calm, peaceful, and fresh approach when talking about sensitive matters.

Charlie Kirk had only just begun his event, and the people present had barely heard the second question that was presented from an audience member when Charlie was shot by a deranged individual. This act of pure evil that led to the death of Charlie Kirk, is not even the worst of what the world has and is experiencing in the aftermath. It appears as much as goodness is contagious as we are seeing in the media in terms of outpouring of prayers and support that is being offered up in honor of Charlie Kirk and his family, and his fight to speak the truth, there is sadly another side. There is also evidence of many people spewing hatred and displaying evil behavior by rejoicing in Charlie’s demise. What makes this even more sad is that many people who are perpetuating this negativity are completely blind to the fact of how destructive their behavior is.

The only hatred that is ever good is the hatred of injustice and the hatred of evil. To hate someone for having an opinion that differs from your own is worse than a two-year-old throwing a temper tantrum because he is not allowed to have what he wants. So, what does that say about the mentality of people who use violence to get their own way?

America lost a man who sought to unite us by using open and honest communication. He shared his opinions freely as he equally welcomed other people to share their opinions freely as well. He only lived 31 years, but I am willing to bet that he has touched the lives of more people in a positive way that most of us ever hope to aspire to do in two or three times as many years of life on this earth.

What will you do today to make this a better place for all people to live rather than just a select few??
